Text of Request: With respects to the "Writing and Publishing" discipline's "Grants to Professional Writers - Creative Writing" program: I would like to learn about the grant selection process. I have been to the website: http://www.canadacouncil.ca/aboutus/Governance/PeerAssessment/gq127234205403281250.htm Now I would like to learn more about the selection process by reading the documents that program officers of the "Grants to Professional Writers - Creative Writing" program consult when implementing the full selection process. These documents, which are read by the program officers, may include: 1.Documents about the assessment process: a) policy and procedures that govern picking members of the peer-assessor committees b) checklists c) reports that program officers must complete at some stage of the assessment process 2. Documents about the overall selection process: a) policies and procedures about the various stages of the selection process (including, but not limited to the assessment stage of selection) b) checklists c) reports that program officers must complete at some stage of the selection process (other than assessment stage, 1c above 3. As well, I would like copies of: a) all documents that are given to the peer assessment committee that inform them about the assessment and selection process. Examples include, but are not limited to: instructions and guidelines peer assessors can consult during the assessment process, and general documents that describe the assessment & selection processes. As per section 4.(2.1) of the Access to Information Act ("The head of a government institution shall... provide timely access to the record in the format requested."), I ask that I be sent the records in electronic format on CD-ROM. |
